I have to go w/ Final Fantasy 7. Still blows me away.
Metal Gear 2 and 3 are close seconds though. What do you guys think???

ff7 is the ABSOLUTE BEST RPG GAME i've ever played
i have just been able to play it all by myself cause everyother time it was with friends and i never got into the story
but now that i got to the 2nd disc its amazing!!!
MG 2 & 3 are really good too just havent played them in a while

IM a big FF7 fan got everything i can find including the script for advent children
then comes all the Resident evil storylines yes everyone of them counts
and finally The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess and orcarina of time

The Resident Evil Series for actually giving zombie games a very respectable storyline, and Final Fantasy VI for so many in-depth characters.... and for the awesomeness that is Kefka!!!

Shenmue 2 look it up play it its really great the story is compelling there's fighting in the game no guns there,s mini games its a massive role playing game it just sucks that it wasn't that popular and the story doesnt get to finish cause not enough fans to put out shenmue 3

Halo (1,2 & 3) , Resident Evil (Just for all the back story), Defo MGS agreed :) , Half-life is really clever and prob Gears of War cos I've got a soft spot for it.
