I agree. I have a feeling that this will be another instance like Jon Benet Ramsey that we will never know what truly happened.

Why do all the McCann haters seem so convinced that they are guilty of everything, even the making of these photos, the pictures may not be of Maddy, but to the parents it gave some hope that she is still alive, remember , there is no proof whatsoever that the parents are guilty of anything other than leaving the children alone for periods of about 20 minutes at a time, I will wait until they are found guilty of a crime in a court of law before I decide what I think of them, until then I will assume that they have had their child abducted and they will have my compassion as would any parent in this position, I wonder how those of you saying bad things about the McCann`s will feel if the little girl was found alive and well, I get the impression that some of you would feel sorry, some for what you have written and some because you were wrong.
Chris.

I think the fact that the McCanns didn't make a statement or show the slightest bit of interest or excitement about this picture speaks volumes.
If my child had gone missing and I saw a picture which let's face it, did look quite like Maddie, I would be on the next plane out to Morocco. The McCanns in their usual fashion didn't do anything and can't even be bothered to make a statement now.

I believe that the picture was genuine but, that the McCanns had seen it a while ago and they, along with the relevent authorities knew it wasn't Madeleine. It was released now only to try and sway public opinion and keep up the support for the McCanns.
In other words, media spin.

I don't think it was planned, not do i believe it was organised either. This Spanish tourist can't have seen much of Morocco before as if she had ... She'd have spotted a few more blond haired children there. I think she reacted as anyone of us would have, thinking of Madeleine and taking a pic to prove she had seen a child looking like her, hoping it could her.
I guess i would be known as an anti Mc Cann because i don't believe their story if! I would dance with joy if i could be proved wrong and this little girl turned up safe and well overnight.
I disagree with her parents PR system but i don't believe they had anything to do with it.

are you joking? Read some of the daft questions & answers on here. The McCanns have still got a hell of a lot of support, but God knows why

To be fair, even from my staunch 'anti' McCann standpoint I'm not sure Gerry and Kate paid these people to take this photo and hand it in.

What are you talking about? The McCanns had nothing to do with the photo, it was taken by a Spanish tourist but now has turned out to be a local girl from the area, what is ur suggestion that the McCanns somehow forged this photo????

This snapshot was prob one from the time when we were all encouraged to "send them in" way back in the summer. Remember? Now when big mama and dada are suspects of the childs disappearance, it's good time to bring them out, to take the heat of big mama and papa's situation.............
