gs is base model, gt is kinda sporty, gts is friggin sweet...but a gsx is even better... what makes them different tho is that the t in gTs stands for TURBO which is the magical word in the car world....same with the GSX, but the gsx came with all wheel drive which all of a sudden becomes scary when mixed with a word like turbo...bc allwheel drive plus turbo means that youre gonna be running 12 second quarter mile times with very little money and effort...so personally, i would go with the gsx or i think they made a few gts awd's so yeah...but one side note is that if youre getting any of these for fuel economy, get the gs, if you want to have fun the gsx....however this is only pertaining to the first and second generations, the third and fourth are crap...so dont even think about them...lol :)

GS - Base model with 4 cylinder engine

GT - V6 engine with more power than the 4 cylinder

GTS - same engine as the GT but with a few upgrades to give a little extra power.

Dont pay attention to the persons who say they're junk. I very own a 2005 GTS. I somewhat have hotrodded the piss outta it and it runs as solid as I first have been given it. and that i bought it kind new. It now has a hundred thirty,000 miles on it and nevertheless going. Mine will pass previous a hundred and fifty. The speedo in basic terms says tho. U pays attention to me or them, or u can pass purchase one and notice for urself.
