Depends on the State and County and how fast you were going as far as Cost. Yes it stays on your permanent driving record.

The court will mail you the terms. You may just have to pay the fine. If you feel that you are innocent, by all means go to court and explain your case to the judge.
It may be a good idea to go to Driving School to remove the ticket from your record. Insurance companies LOVE tickets!!

I got a speeding ticket! i went 15 over and i got a 250 dollar ticket! in washington i think its like 80 some dollars for every 5 miles ur going oveR?? and ya it goes on ur driving record.
