Thank God you didn't say "Olden" days !!

MANY brands had a penny or two TAPED to the package when dispensed from machines up until the late 60's... when the price might be 28 cents...

The DISTRIBUTOR would tape 2 cents to the package, so you'd drop in 3 dimes, and get your 2 cents change with the pack of smokes.
