since 4.0 is perfect, 3.7 should be good. It would be the equivalent of a grade of 92.5%

Depends on the school system. Some schools 3.7 is average. Other school systems its above average or superior. Colleges and universities love people with 4.0's in HS + jobs + extra activies and volunteer work. After college, jobs usually like students with a GPA around 3.6-3.85. Most companies are cautious of people who have above a 3.85 because its questions their social skills. Of course, there are some people who are gifted.

It is great!!! Actually, that is the GPA that I graduated with when I earned my Bachelors....but Honors was considered 3.9. :O/ Good job and keep up the good work!!!

usually, yes. but it depends on the college you want to attend. If you're planning to go to a local community college, then you're GPA is great! if you're planning to go to Harvord or Oxford, then your GPA is okay...
