No, I don't need a lot of money, you're right. People need to appreciate the simplest things for these are that make life happier. Water is the simplest thing on earth but you can't survive without it.

My husband informed me a few weeks ago that he will never be happy unless he has a lot of money. I am happy with having my basic needs met and a few extra things a week. I think you can be happy if you are broke or rich, its whats in your heart not in your wallet! : )

I don't think that you need to be rich to be happy. I'm not and I am perfectly happy most of the time. I have friends that don;t care about how much money I have and I can just be me. That is one thing I think people need to be happy.

I wouldn't want to be broke.. I just wanna have money to pay the bills and get nice things every so often.
I think you just need people to keep you happy. Friends, family, and such.

No. I need love to be happy (which I don't have). I just need to be able to pay my bills. This way I can have electricity, cable, gas, water, a car, and a cell phone.

No but it does make things less stressful, for me at least. I think you can be happy rich or poor, as long as you have love in your life.
