it's frightneing to me how people change
their looks their values,and even their name
a son to his dad, a friend to a friend
a broken promise fullfilled in the end
id never leave you so many proclaim
but believe me its certain people change
lifes a journey and no two are the same
we all chase dreams,and some we gain
but where exactly is the fork in the road?
that forces people to choose which way to go
and why does it seem seperate is the only way
what happened to bonds and pacts we've made
i too have a past,that has lead me down a different path
but one thing that has never changed
its the place in my heart some people remain
you grow and change and end up astray
but in my heart may your memory never fade.
