I am currently going to a Cal State in California, my major is Sociology. I plan on going to a UC that has more emphasis/programs in the department of social sciences or humanities.

These are the UC's I am considering so far: UCLA, UCSB, UCSD, and Berkeley.

I'd love to apply to USC but I'm from a low income family, I'm not too sure if all my expenses will be covered by financial aid.

Advice please! :)

Transferring from a CSU to a UC seems to be much more difficult than transferring from a community college to a UC, but if this is really something you want to do, you might as well try. Your problem is that the UCs you mention are actually the four hardest for anyone to bet into, so I do hope that you have an outstanding record at your CSU!

It is worth applying to any place you want to get into, even USC. Any of the schools you mention have strong programs, although I would probably suggest that UCSD is stronger in other topics.

Well Berkeley is certainly the most reputable school out of all of those, but they might not give you as much money (this is not to say the other schools aren't 'reputable'--they are all quite good!) If you apply to a school that you are a bit over-qualified for, they will give you more money, or at least that's how it usually works for first-year students (I'm not too sure about transfers.)
I think if you apply to all of them and request financial aid, they will come back with an answer that includes how much money they can give you, and then you can decide based on that. No harm in applyng to as many as possible!

Much extra demands to be understood approximately your educational growth up to now and your pursuits earlier than answering the query. Each neighborhood university has a switch middle on campus. The middle's position is to speak to you approximately your pursuits and support you increase an direction plan even as on the neighborhood university. Your subsequent step must be to discuss with your switch middle, attend a switch workshop supplied through the middle, and agenda an appointment to take a seat down with an educational counselor.
