Would this man be guilty of sexual abuse?This happened several times& he would put her his belly & go up & down like riding a horse. This made her very uncomfortable. She told him that she was going to tell her mother,& he told her if she did he would leave & they would starve to death. So she didn't tell her mother untill she found out they were getting divorced, 2yrs. later.

This was reported to the moreno valley ca. sheriffs dept. & they didn't do any thing about it we called tellahesee police & nothing was done they questioned him & let him go. cps wouldn't do any thing because he now lives in florida & not at home.

What you are describing would be wrong even if it was the girls' natural father.
No 11 year old should need anyone to help her bathe.
From what you are saying, this is now all out in the open. You seem to indicate that the mother found out when they were getting a divorce.
This should all be brought to the attention of the police right away. They will have to hear it directly from the girl involved, but you can appreciate how important it is to try and prevent this man from doing this same thing to anyone else. If the mother doesn't want to get the police involved, any other responsible adult can take this information to the police. they will take it from there and it will be out of mom's hands.
He belongs in prison and on a sex offenders list.

Yes it is sexual abuse, and the mother should not allow this child to see this man ever again. The mother should talk to a lawyer and if necessary to have the girl talk to someone from child services. I can't understand why the police didn't do anything about it, he committed a crime. Sexual abuse by the parents or step parents leave a tremendous amount of emotional scars in kids. It affects everything in their lives. She might need to get therapy to help with her emotional pain. That man belongs in jail. he is nothing but a cockroach. I have no pity for monsters like that. Why did the mother allowed him to bathe her if the girl was already 11 years old? There is no need for a girl that old to have to be bathe. This are the things I don't understand about society, people should know better than that. I just hope and pray to God that this child's life don't get to be ruined by the trauma that that insect inflicted in her.

First, why is an 11 year old being bathed, second, after hearing of his "threat" to the child, yes, that's abuse, and I live in Florida and no it would not fall under this cps' juridiction, and cps in your state probably didn't pursue since the man was out of contact, but what I don't understand is why the law did nothing, there's a statue of limitations and unless there's no way whatsoever to validate the story, which I still find odd, I think they chose not to pursue for lazy reasons, have you tried to talking to a cps supervisor?

Of course this is sexual abuse, she should of told her mother a long time ago, and where in the hell is her mother to allow her husband to bath a 11 yrs old daughter. Its long over due for mother to sit down with her daughter and explain to her that no man should ever touch her and always feel free to come to her mother for anything she feels uncomfortable about.

Yes it is sexual abuse, and the person can still be reported to the police for the incidents. The little girl will likely have to talk with the police, as well.
I hope it works out.
Perhaps consider some therapy for the child. Events such as these cause emotional trauma which can last a lifetime. ask me, i know.

YES!!! It was repeated behavior and when the child told him it made her uncomfortable and she was gonna tell if he didn't stop and his only response was to threaten to leave them - BS!!! The girl and her mother need to go to the police or CPS and report it so that he can not do this same thing or worse to another little girl!!! He is a sick pervert and if he is not stopped he WILL do it again!!!

11 yrs old?!? that's too old for the stepfather to even be in the bathroom with her. where was the mother in all of this? i'd like to ask her some questions. true, the daughter didn't blatantly let the mother, but why was this man home alone with her child every night? where was the mother?

Yes,it is sexual abuse.Why would he be giving an 11 year old a bath in teh first place.Report him before he does this to another unsuspecting child.

GUILTY!!!!!! Find him and bring charges up on him!!!! Of course this is wrong......are you the victim or the mother of the victim????? This guy is doing this somewhere else I guarantee you.....he's a sicko!! You owe it to yourself and every other unsuspecting women that lets him in her house with her children!! Sorry, maybe I am a little sensative to this subject but something similar happened to me when I was a child......

She is 11 yrs old, she does NOT need a grown old *** man giving her a bath. Where is her mother? Why would she let this go on? That sick o needs to be LOCKED up!!!
