No it's not linked to being abroad.
That statement is linked to ignorance. There have been many GOP leaders here in the USA to make similar statements. Two examples are Jesse Helms and Jerry Falwell. Both of those men, when asked about how they would treat a homosexual member of their family, stated it would never be possible for a homosexual to be their families.
I think those two examples show the similarities between conservatives and Islamic extermists.

Well there are a few - I have chatted to more than one - but as they risk execution just for using a gay website, they do tend to be rather discreet about things.
I suspect that the number of guys into fun with guy is pretty similar to the rest of the world.
Significantly higher than most folks imagine so long as they know you will be utterly discreet ;)

Who would want to come out of the closet in Iran when the penalty is death? Of course there are no gays in Iran.
Kinda like there where no Nazi supporters in Germany after the Allies invaded. Who would want to admit it?

Nope, what of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad himself! You now he lies most times he opens his buccals (Like G.W. Bush, Craig et al). He even has the swagger of a closet fag!!

of course they're gays in Iran. Less because the penalty is death, but if they're prisoners they are still there right?? and don't forget the smart ones who keep quit about there homosexuality and get married. stay in the closet method you know.

I do understand that if he finds out that someone in Iran is gay is even tininking of becoming gay, he will have them killed at no matter what age, The man is the devil himself.

He is so full of it. He is just a cruel dictator and since his economy is failing in iran I am sure they will vote him out next election. Gay people are everywhere and will always be there. They are just afraid to tell people they are gay because they might be killed.
