Do your own homework. If you can't get that info from the textbook, then you should call your district and demand a better one. Not to mention the fact that there are tons of websites for you to go visit for this simple answer. You can help yourself if you want to.

In Prophase I of meiosis, the homologous chromosomes find each other and synapse, lining up next to each other.

This doesn't happen in mitosis.
