I would choose Colombia, because they are so smart that they kept their paradise secret by telling the world that they produced cocaine. Wow I love it here. no Guerrilla as they say only near venezuela that is and brazil and peru at the borders doesn't affet you really, beautiful women, beautiful beaches, beautiful cities, service, attention, parties, family values, no bad influences, no imposed slave laws like in the US, you can put your own business without too many papers, it's a bit expensive but that implies security to the country. Wow the food, the drinks there is stuff here you won't find anywhere in Latin America or the world.

I would choose to be born in what the commies at the WTO call a "tax haven." That way, the government doesn't steal over half of my money every year (as it does in the supposedly free country of America).

I am proud and extremely lucky to be born in the United States. It may not be perfect, but I don't have to deal with starvation like in other countries, oppresion like in other countries, ethnic cleansing, genocide and rampant terrorism like in other countries.
I live in a country where I have freedom, and can speak out against my Government, if I feel that they are not doing the job that we have given them to do. That's being patriotic.
