Taking vitamins might help you conceive but not all by themselves. Good nutrition is very important to fertility, but even a good prenatal vitamin is only meant to be a supplement to a good and balanced diet. So if you are eating poorly, taking vitamins is not going to help you conceive.

Other things to help boost your fertility besides good nutrition are proper rest, regulating your cycles, maintaining a healthy weight (i.e. not too skinny and not too fat), staying active (excessive exercise can hurt your fertility) and not using tobacco or excessive alcohol.

Vitamins will not interfere with your cycles or make your period start late. In fact, good nutrition often helps to regulate women's cycles after regular use. There's an excellent multivitamin for women called Optivite PMT that helped regulate my cycles and lessened the severity of my periods.

I'm not sure whether or not prenatal vitamins actually help you to get pregnant. But as with any vitamin, they help your body refuel. So if you're not getting enough nutrients from your diet alone, then vitamins are a good addition. They certainly aren't hurting anything. Doctor's recommend prenatals as opposed to regular vitamins because they are a little higher in calcium and iron and lower in vitamin A. You may not actually be pregnant and just stressing out causes a late period. Or you may very well be pregnant and just have very low hormone levels. The best thing to do get on a regular schedule and try not to stress too much. You'll get pregnant again when your body is ready. =D

They wiil not help you conceive but will help the development of your baby when you conceive..and it is good that you are taking them now! Just keep testing with the HPTs if you dont get a period in a few days call your doc for a blood test

Ofcourse not. Prenatal vitamins are good to take before you try to get pregnant is because it has folic acid and that helps your baby's neuro system. I took folic acid 3 months before I tried to get pregnant.

No, they help the baby stay healthy and make your body ready to carry it once you DO get pregnant. Why do you post all of your questions so many times?
