I've helped little kids who were crying that were lost like in the mall or the book store. We walked together and found their mom. As for an adult probably not, they could be faking and like hope for some girl to come along and help them and then the girl could be abducted.. so no i would not risk that

I wouldn't ask to help them because if I was crying I wouldnt want people I didnt know talking to me. But I would smile at them. I think a simple smile can save a person's life.

i might convenience them regardless of if i didnt be responsive to them, only dont ask what that is for the reason which will cause them to freak only provide them a hug or some thing. sometime i grow to be sobbing in the washing room and this woman got here in and observed i grow to be crying and gave me a hug and pronounced the boy that merits you wont make you cry then she left. I have no theory who she grow to be i in no way observed her returned. I actual have continuously seen her my dad or mum angel

I'd get a feel for the person first. I can usually tell if someone wants to be left alone, or they truly need a shoulder to cry on ... but, I'd always help if they want some support. I hate seeing someone in pain, be it emotional or physical. :(

Walk away. Most people don't like to be bothered when they are going through something serious. I like to respect other people's space. I would not want to invade that person's privacy.
