I can't have children-- I found out I had to have complete hysterectomy at 32 years old. I have a godson/nephew who means world to me. Plus I've been a teacher since I was 23 years old, so I have never really dwelt on the fact I can't have kids of my own. I still am a very blessed person. Adoption: I was not ready to think about at 32- when 1st had surgery- surgical menopause- is not a nice experience. Now, Husband and I have been considering foster care. There is a great need in our area for foster homes- and I feel this maybe purpose in our lives. I am so happy for you for having a son and loving him and making him your world you are both very lucky- We are all blessed- it just depends on how you look at things. Best to You!!!

I have 3 grown daughters and 3 of the most precious grandkids ever put on Earth! They are ALL my world! I'm extra lucky because my kids love me so much that 2 of them actually just bought a house with me, so we all live together- with 2 of the grandkids. The other daughter lives just down the road, literally, and we see her several times a week and that grandson stays here several times a week! I'm the happiest grandma I know!

3 girls, and when they are sleeping peacefully i love them all...
when the teens are lippy, well, not so much..
and when the baby is sick[ like today] i could scream......
i still love them, i just need a nap to remember why some days...lol...
