The vent pipes are the pipes that supply air to the sewer and drainage sytem pipes in the house

Look down them with a flashlight. If it is clogged, remove as much as possible by hand and then flush with a garden hose. Hopefully, there are no dead squirrells stuck there (not normal but happens). Most items that go down the pipe can easily be flushed out. If you see the water start backing up the pipe, stop filling it. The vents connect to the main drainlines so if it is backing up, you have a bad clog and the toilets and tubs will fill up with water.

Just tape a large shop vacuum to the vent pipes and suck what ever it is out. If its still stuck can break up with a long stick just make sure that a sting is attached to the end of it so you don't drop the stick down the vent pipe.
