Personally Yeah eye contact for a few blinks means you see them as a person for who or what they are and they are giving you their attention. People who do not look you in the eye means they are hiding something either they do not know you or they are not giving you their Respect.Yes you can also see if a person is Lying to you to

Yes!! its like say.. IM-ing your faverite aunt compared to actauly visiting her!! and it shows respect and that the person giving eye contact is worth talking to.. plus its harder to lie to someone if your looking the in the eyes!! So ten out of ten for eye contact!!

Yes, because when there is eye contact it means the person is interested in you and what you have to say and it means they are trustworthy too as avoiding eye contact means they are sketchy (sorry Trace!)

Yes - "the eyes are the window to the soul"!
And when it comes to children - look them in the eye and you'll always find out if they have been up to something and are covering it up or have some sort of problem - still true for adults come to that.

Yes...It can tell you a lot.
If someone is deliberately avoiding eye contact with you, then they are usually hiding something. Good be a good or bad thing...but they don't want you to know it.
