Throw out boredom and watching TV and sleeping. If we stacked up the pleasure against the pain how would they compare?

Oh the pain has been of varying degrees and affects various parts of me, but the pleasure and joy that comes is sharp and vivid and all consuming while it lasts.
The percentage just doesn't matter- that I have had the ability and opportunity to experience the good stuff even in small measure is well worth any pain that comes my way.

My pains would outnumber my pleasures 20 to 1 but I'm young and have time yet to change those odds.

I have had more pain then pleasure. I realize nothing comes easy, the pleasure sure has been worth the pain!!!
