I think Christianity is a belief based on faith. that being said , I have no problem also calling it a religion.
Christian values are wonderful as long as they are true Christian values that are Christ based.

Sorry, but I consider Christianity a mythology based on no fact and an instrument used solely to control the masses.
Don't feel bad I consider all religions that. American Christians for the most part, I consider less controlled than many other religious people. So thats a good thing.

I have no problem with Christian values, or Christianity as a religion.
What I do have a problem with is Christian people who want to tell me what to do with my life and declare that my beliefs are "wrong", simply because they are different from the Christian person's beliefs.
I'm also not too keen on those who bug me, continually asking why I'm no longer a Christian and who frequently ask me to go to church services with them. They never seem to get it through their skulls that I'm not interested and may never be.
The way I see it... I live my life with my own set of morals and they are quite similar to Christian morals, if not the exact same. I don't have to believe in a god or go to services each Sunday in order to be a decent part of society and humanity.
Not every person is a Christian, not everyone classifies themselves as something or other. We are all individuals and should be thought of as such. If we don't believe in God, we are not "heathens".

I consider Christianity a religion based on the teachings of Christ. A religion, on the other hand, can be any kind of spiritual awakening or any set of principles, not necessarily founded in the beliefs of any organized religion. -RKO- 09/26/07

"Christian values" is a meaningless term. It gets thrown around often and never defined. The bible itself is so vague that it can be interpreted to mean just about anything you want. However, you can believe whatever you want just as long as you don't expect my tax money to pay for it or me to live by some ridiculous superstitions dreamed up by doped up sheepherders. Christianity itself is a religion plain and simple. Personally, I have no use for any religion.
