I'm pretty good with flat packs, even the ones where the instructions have been translated into English. It's a combination of needs must and practise makes perfect. I find it helps to take a deep breath or ten while I'm getting organised.

You have 2 choices, tell yourself you can do it and give it a go, or let someone else do it and watch them gloat.

Lmao Tatty!

I'm really anal about flat packs, I undo them all, lay out all the bits, make sure I have the correct parts and that they match with the diagrams.

Then I proceed to assembly!
Now I must point out up until that point I'm calm, collected, I have all the appropriate tools.................
Then all hell breaks loose!
My son hides, dogs cringe under the bed, the neighbours invariably call the police! lol

Do I hate flat packs?
You're darn skippy I do, but I still keep buying the b@stard things!!

we plough on ignoring all instructions and ending up with spare screws, aren't they considerate how they always put extra screws in, lol

Yes - get him to come and do it for you!
I couldn't be doing with that sort of thing - I like my furniture to come ready made up.
