some people on here seem to find humour in the strangest of places but surely finding humour about a girl who may have been murdered of is being used by paedophile(s) just can not be funny

i do have a sense of humour but i find this distasteful

Its almost as distasteful as a self righteous woman trying to feed her ego off the misfortunes of others!
Wouldn't you say? Viki

No I cannot find any humour in this, because of Madeleine. However, having said that the people that are displaying this type of humour aren't bad people, it just is their way of dealing with it. Not everybody is the same. I am sure they dont mean to give offence and are just as sad about Madeleine as anybody else.

I certainly can understand my dear, it is known as black humour, people use this because it is a lost cause, they all know that the child is dead, jokes make things seem less tragic. Military people are known for having this kind of humour, for obvious reasons .

I have not once seen a joke about Madeleine, not once!
As for the parents and extended family, yes I must admit, I get texts about them too!
Sorry, but, some of them are funny!
At the end of the day, they are not about Madeleine but her very stupid irresponsible parents!
I, just as much as any one would love to see her found alive and well!
Today when that Moroccan photo was published, I was so sure it was her!
My heart went and my mood changed drastically when, alas, it was not her!
They have made the whole sorry episode about them and that bloody fund!

I agree,
But you have to have a sense of humour where the parents are concerned.

PS Have you seen anyone make a joke about Madeleine? it's the parents who get the stick

Re your first reply, its distasteful to say any child dying doesnt matter.

But you are right I don't know how people can make sick jokes about it. I wonder what those who do are like as people?

I know its not the same but my son has special needs and I get offended by using word like mongol and retard, and jokes about disabled people. I think if those people had a disabled child they couldn't bring themselves to do it. I dont think you can say its just someones sense of humour cos i'm sure you dont joke about thinks that you know could cause hurt.

What i'm saying is i think that these people have never really FELT anything in their lives and i pity that.

I totally agree with you. I do not find any jokes or innuendo about this case to be humorous in the least.
I have a GSOH as I have said in another post but it is not warped.

ghost............... Don't know where you have been hiding hun, but it hasn't been on here lately or maybe your reading matter is selective. In that case I can understand. :))

I certainly do not see this case to be a subject of humour in any way.

I have kids of my own. There is no humor when it comes to missing children. I don't leave my kids alone while I go to dinner. The ones turning this into a joke better watch what they say, the same thing could happen to them.
