Even though there are many things that should have never happened, and even though we wished some people would not have had a chance to create the havoc they have,we are not the one in charge, God is.
For that matter many peoples throughout history could ask the same question.
There is a reason for everything that happens, past, present, and future; yesterday determines what today, and tomorrow will be like.
What I do know is that anything that happens to us, even the bad is meant to strengthen us, make us more resourceful, and most of all makes us depend more on Him instead of relying on our own wisdom.
That is the message that is most often missed since griping about a situation past, or present is much easier.
Let it go, and move forward, people with one foot in the past, and one foot in the future miss out on the present.

The ****** as you call them, lived free in countries like Africa, etc.before being brought to North America as slaves. Of COURSE they wanted to be free -- who wouldn't? As for 'why didn't God smite white men'... during Jesus's time in history, men were Mediterranean , not 'white' per se. However, probably the closest you'll come to discovering 'white men' being smote with a pillar of fire, would be the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah... a place so evil and decadent, not even 1 innocent man could be found. So He destroyed the entire city.
Now as for white men in american history, and all the suffrering they caused, God created man --. MEN live with what THEY create, whether for good OR evil. Mankind is as diverse as your imagination. We can be very generous in times of disaster, and callous when life is "normal". We create our own suffering, as well as our own generosity.
Your question is very philosophical, and could cause endless debate, so good luck. Suffice it to say that Mankind creates its own destiny.

In the book of Job, God allowed many things to happen to Job, but the test was to see if Job would keep his faith. God doesn't intend to make life easy all the time (many wouldnt feel they needed him if this was the case) but to be an overcomer, you have to overcome the world and take Christ as your supply in ALL situations.

Please, don't take some of these people's sarcastic remarks as a form of racism. I can only hope they aren't trying to be *** holes but the vast majority of white people in America love blacks.
To answer your question, though, my belief is that the Bible was made to give people a guideline to good principles to use in their lives. Meaning, not all of the stories are true, in my opinion, but they are meant to bring strength and hope to those facing oppression like the slaves of America.

This is one of the mysteries of life. You could ask the same about the Jews that were exterminated in Germany. God is in control and all things in his plan work for good. I hope one day to ask him a page of questions.

Where was God let me see, was he with abolutionist who helped the black to freedom, was he with Abraham Lincoln in his fight against slavery, was he with the thousands of men in blue who gave their lives for the freedom of slaves.? I could go on but it you can't find him there it would be of no use.

TOUGH QUESTION but I was told NEVER to question what and why GOD did things...its beyond our way of thinking and we will only be frustrated over not being able to understand HIS ways...Just pray for guidance and maybe someday trying to understand might be not as hard .
