Legally? Yes, you do. Work done = goods received. The fact that the dozy eejit didn't invoice you for the work until a year later is totally irrelevant.
Of course, he's obviously earning too much if he can forget about your bill.... the evil wee voice says let the b*gger sweat!

Yes you do have to pay it. I understand (I'm not a lawyer) that the time period is 5 years i.e if they hadn't invoiced you for 5 years I don't think you would have to pay but after 12 months - yes you need to pay it.

Yes you have to pay you could try & get them to reduce the price with sending the invoice so late.It is worth asking they can only say Yes Or No.Good Luck

not sure where you stand legally but if you are happy with the pump and their workmanship i would pay it

after all they've done a good job for you and you have had the benefit of holding onto the cost of it for over a year

don't punish them just because they haven't been up to speed with their bookwork

you never know when you will need a good plumber again and it's not nice to not pay people for their services

Maybe they should get the money first next time! and maybe then let you wait a year for the installation, just no pleasing some people, it is disgraceful that you even consider not paying.

Yes. you have to pay, they have every right to add interest onto the invoice as well.

/In answer to your question, Yes you do have to pay.
Why shouldn't you?.the company fitted the pump and they must have done a good job otherwise you would have complained.
