some say it's an investment,

Love is one of those cheap amusement rides at the carnival. They're fun but they can and most likely will break down at some point and ruin the moment. Love isn't so much a financial investment but instead emotional one. The important thing in love is to keep close enough through life's trials to still be in love but not close enough to suffocate it. Everyone changes over time, it's well and normal. The thing to do regarding changes is one of the most important parts to keeping the investment afloat and that is to keep some common ground to stomp on. We all change our likes and dislikes a thousand times over but when we keep that common bond with a lover or a friend we always have some place to resort back to in our minds of why we're sticking around. Cheers honey

Love is free only to the extent that it is given without expectation of anything in return. That kind of love you never find, these days. People go emotionally bankrupt because they keep holding back their love, in hopes that they will be able to give it to someone who deserves it. But they often never find such a person and so, the love they could have given away simply disintegrates.

Nothing is ever free and if it is worth keeping, then it will be difficult. If it were easy everyone would have love and would really have no meaning. we'd be more like wild animals...mo love...just sex for procreation.

People go emotionally bankrupt, same reason they go financially bankrupt. They do not know how to manage their emotions and properly use their assets.

i believe love can be free. but thats like winning the lottery. people go emotiontally bankrupt because they spend their whole life looking for it and never find it. or sometimes they'll lose it to someone else and never let it go. for those people life just isnt fair. and those people could be anyone of us. even you. some might think thats a niave question. but who has the right to say anything is niave? i personally dont think i do.

Do you love any one?If ya perfect answer no one intrupt you from that which means you are free.
Most of the people think that money is every thing rather than love, emotion etc. So they are bankrupt economically and then emotionally.
I THINK U GOT IT.

No, love is not free because you spend your time and effort to watch it grow. nothing is free in this world.
Love should be expensive in a non material way.
Love IS an investment.
Emotional bankruptcy happens when you don't invest wisely.

Ya, love is free but you have to find one for yourself.
Love is the heart of life. If love is your weakness the you are the strongest of all. Love can come anytime to you. Its just you have to recognise it and grab it or else you regret in the end.
Unfortunately, I have'nt found one.

All very good questions. But the real answers kinda depend on what you call 'love' and how careful you are to keep it separated from 'desire'.
