Not exactly. They're saying that the ancient Egyptian state was conceived of, founded, and populated by black Africans and that Arabs later usurped the kingdom, drove out the blacks, and populated Egypt with Arabs.
Ridiculous, isn't it?
It doesn't seem to have occurred to them that this erroneous sequence of events makes blacks the brutal slavemasters of ancient Egypt. Personally, I find the irony hilarious.

Genetic analysis of modern Egyptians reveals that they have paternal lineages common to indigenous North Africans/Berber populations primarily, and to Near Eastern peoples to a lesser extent....
The bebers are the origionl natives of north africa , they are not black, they are still there in the mountains of Algeria and Morocco and they look like Egyptians a lot than the Arabs..
the ancient Egyptians were descended from Ham through the line of Mizraim. Ham had four sons: Cush, Mizraim, Phut, and Canaan . The name "Mizraim" is the original name given for Egypt in the Hebrew Old Testament.
Arabs are a semitic people, descending from various Old North Arabian tribes. FRom Sam brother of Hum
An Arab is who can trace his or her ancestry to the tribes of Arabia - the original inhabitants of the Arabian Peninsula - and the Syrian Desert. This definition covers fewer self-identified Arabs than not, and was the definition used in medieval times, for example by Ibn Khaldun.
Oxford University historian H. S. Deighton was still writing:
“The Egyptians are not Arabs, and both they and the Arabs are aware of this fact. They are Arabic-speaking, and they are Muslim—indeed religion plays a greater part in their lives than it does in those either of the Syrians or the Iraqi. But the Egyptian, during the first thirty years of the 20th century, was not aware of any particular bond with the Arab East... Egypt sees in the Arab cause a worthy object of real and active sympathy and, at the same time, a great and proper opportunity for the exercise of leadership, as well as for the enjoyment of its fruits. But she is still Egyptian first and Arab only in consequence, and her main interests are still domestic.
Now The big Question: Do The Arabs themselves believe that the Egyptians are Arabs, ?? Of course NOT… Europeans , Americans and others can travel to most of the arabic country withOUT visa,, and the Egyptians if they can get it they are deprived their passports and be treated like slaves,, would the people from the same race do that to themselves….
If the Arab should be proud of something: they should proud that they are half Egyptians,,, from Hagar , their Egyptian mother,,
Now with the Jews: Yes the Egyptians slaved them but how and when:
first the builders of the pyramids were completely Egyptians that is proven by the DNA tests done on the workers participated in its building, plus we have to analyze also history to clear that matter
* Noah had Shem (Sam) (father of Arabs and Jews) , Japheth and Ham (father of Egyptians) ,
Sam had later Abraham who had Ishmael (Father of Arabs).from Hagar the Egyptian. And Isaac from Sara (Father and Jews)…
.Later Isaac had Jacob (Israel)who had Joseph, who was separated from his father Jacob at the age of 17 and sent down to Egypt as a slave by his brothers, The famine in Canaan started and was continuing, Jacob was again obliged to send his sons to Egypt for corn .Joseph received them in Egypt , very kindly and prepared a feast for them, They stayed in Egypt and settled with new generations , who had to work for their food, and hence were slaved by the Egyptians till the arrival of Moses . (who I think as an Egyptian as he was raised as a Pharaoh for 30 years)
We can see that the Pyramids were build almost in the time of Abraham, for a simple reason that zoser pyramid is considered the first stone building in the world before Al Ka3bah in Mecca which was built by Abraham,,, so in the worst case , this pyramids will be dated to Abraham , Isaac, Jacob , The sons of Jacob were not even in Egypt that time , so it is impossible they took part in building them
Now lets imagine that the builders were sons of Jacob (Israel) where should the glory go,, to slaves who followed the orders of the designers (the Egyptian engineers) or the engineers who designed them and managed the slaves (and that even did not happen as I mentioned above),,,, In the same sense we could say that Dubai was built by Philippines lol

here we go again with the 'they' who are 'they' please
honest question.
with regards to the ancient citizens of Egypt, 'they' also say that the people who built the pyramids have the same DNA markers as modern Egyptians. in other words it has been scientifically proved that the the modern population of Egypt and the ancient are one and the same. so you the modern Egyptians are the descendants of the ancients. so your ancestors are Egyptians or if you consider the term Egyptians to be political they are the people who lived where you live today or so 'they' say so.
in this case 'they' happens to be zahi howass after DNA tests carried out on the bodies found buried at the pyramids and on people living today in Egypt.
personally i prefer to believe the scientific results of today than the gossip of 'they'.
whoever 'they' may be.

Ancient Egyptians were black. Instead of reading books by modern day Egyptians and Eurocentrists do some research.
The sequence of events described by the first person to answer is true and is not ridiculous although he/she missed out the invasions of the Romans and Persians..
Many researchers believe that the people of Kemet were black and there is DNA evidence - Haplotypes of Modern Egyptians, particularly of Upper Egypt and study of crania which support this, which people here would know if they bothered to research.
DNA evidence points to an ancestral East African origin of those people.
They can't dare believe a country situated in Africa was originally inhabited by black people thousands of years ago, lol.
Just by looking at the statues of Abu Simbel and the Great Sphinx of Giza you can see they depict black/******* people. Oh, also the many paintings which depict dark brown/black people similar looking to an Ethiopian.
Instead of reading articles done in the 80s and before try and research on modern analysis as recent as 2006.
Yes, in the Bible it states the Israelites were slaves in Egypt.
