LANCOME is Awesome!!
I use Lancome Definicils. You can purchase Lancome products at Dillards, Belk, Macys, ...
Without mascara my lashes aren't noticable, but with Lancome my lashes look super thick and they stretch out to my eyebrows--no lie! My husband and a lot of people have complimented me and told me that my eyes are very pretty (Believe me...it is the mascara!)
It costs about $20, but it is worth every penny... I am thrifty, but I can't live without my Lancome :->
You can also buy the primer that you apply before putting on the mascara, but I don't buy it because it costs an extra $20 and I've purchased it before & it really didn't do anything.

what??? I cant believe no one has mentioned L'oreal. I love that stuff i think its the best every other mascara seems as though i have to put it on over and over again with hardly an effect. L'oreal goes on Dark, no clumping and doesnt smear/smudge and looks even better the morning after. I love l'oreal makes the eyelashes look even longer too.

Personally, I think your best bet is to just buy a primer. Its like the maybelline one (white on one end black on the other). Apply it before your normal mascara and it separates the lashes and the black/brown will simply colour them.
I use a MAC primer and then MAC zoom lash afterwards. Also, take as much of the mascara off of the wand before applying- this will help reduce clogging.
MAC primer: £9 $13.50

my personal fave. is exact a lash by maybelline and columinous by maybelline, they never clump
DO NOT get the primer gold and black it leaves horrible clumps, whenever I tried to get the clumps out it would take my eyelashes, that mascara made me lose ALOT of bottom lashes

If you don't mind spending the extra money, the best mascara I have tried (and I've tried maybe 15, which is too many in my opinion) is Dior DiorShow Mascara in Black. The brush is thick and coats each lash to create a "just-off-the-catwalk" look. It's available from Sephora via their website, and I've seen it at Shoppers Drug Mart, too.
If you really like it, they also have a waterproof version!

Maybelline great lash mascara, the classic one with the pink tube and green handle :)....It works the best for me, it dosen't dry so you can put on alot of coats and it won't clump, its a good price too.
