Because negative emotion is way way way way way stronger then positive emotions!

On a serious note, nowadays people are raised because of liberal influences in a fantasy world, if i would try and raise my daughters like my parents raised me some social worker would step up and rip my family apart to provide a better life for my girls ( in their minds only)! So people nowadays are brainwashed into thinking they do no wrong and everybody owes them something. I've said it before the majority of modern divorces stem from dwelling on the 2% of your partner that you don't like and ignoring the 98% of them that you love!
