What is something you believe in but cannot prove? Remember that there is a difference in believe in and believe that. You believe in God, but believe that your mind controls your body.
This is for a class i'm in and can't think of anything for except God.

alot of you are putting "i believe that..." I need "I believe in". But thank you for all your comments! :]
And I know your mind controls your body. Or should I say brain. I was just giving an example. I'm in IB[AP] Biology. I sure hope I know what by now. :P

She blatantly stated the difference between "believe in" and believe that." She was right in her statement.
God or any other supernatural beings is a prime example. As for others, I really can't help you out. I would say "love" but I'm not sure if that can be proven or not through scientific examination. Some would categorize love into the biological bond between parents and children, others wouldn't. But what about true love between two un-related people? I don't know.
I'm sorry I couldn't be of further assistance.

This is a good question. Usually a person doesn't believe something unless actually experiencing it or seeing it with their own eyes. This brings me to a story. I always said," There is no such thing as ghost." Well it so happens I saw something that was unexplainable. I investigated it as much as possible, looking for some sort of explanation. I could not for the life of me find any mirrors or ways or reflection or other ways of this "ghost" appearing. I still to this day have questions to what was once a reality. I know what I saw, clear and fuzzy, black and white dots making the outline or a man looking like Hitchcock in a tux with his hand on the back of the chair. I could see him and also see right through him. It was in a private home, but looking like the ghost at Disney. Am I crazy? MAYBE! So my point is I saw something that day and looked to prove it to myself for my own sanity. Yet to this day I do not know what I actually saw, nor do I have an explanation.

I believe that there is a universal energy that connects us all and it is why we can co-exist in some form and think similarily.
I believe that the planet earth is merely an object on the K-shell of an atom going around a nucleus called the sun (nuclear fission is the sun's nature) and that our entire solar system is nothing more than a single atom among billions that form molecules that we call galaxies.
Imagine what that resulting organism is like?
NB: Your mind does control your body. This is not a belief that it happens. It does happen as a fact.

So use that.
I believe that there are other, alien, intelligent life-forms 'out there' in the Universe. But I can't prove it. Maybe we'll find out next week, or we won't know for a thousand years, or we won't -ever- know. But I still believe that there are.

When I was inside the Winchester mystery house I felt something strange, more than emotional experience. But I cannot prove that strange feeling.

I believe the children are our are future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the childrens laughter remind us how we used to be
Everybody searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone to fulfill my needs
A lonely place to be
So I learned to depend on me
Chorus:
I decided long ago, never to walk in anyones shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They cant take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the childrens laughter remind us how we used to be
Chorus
And if by chance, that special place
That youve been dreaming of
Leads you to a lonely place
Find your strength in love
