I got my period on Sept 1-6, had sex during the last day of period and everyday for a week or so afterwards. What are my chances of being preggers? Is it possible to become pregnant on these days if you have a normal 28 day cycle? The reason i am asking is because I have insanely sore breast and this never happens until the day before my period. please give me some advice... Thanks in advance

Okay in a perfect world.... if your last period started on September 01 and you have a 28-day cycle, you would potentially ovulate on September 15. This would give you a total fertile window for this cycle of September 12, 13, 14, 15, and 15.

Assuming your lovefest started on September 6 and ended on or around September 13... yes, there's a chance for pregnancy here. If you had sex on the 12th or 13th and had fertile cervical mucous, sperm could have lived for a few days in your reproductive tract and would have been present the day of ovulation.

If you ovulated on September 15, you would be 11 days passed ovulation (DPO) today. It's certainly possible to start having symptoms at this time. I tested positive at 12DPO so you could try to test tomorrow or sometime after if you want to know early...or you could wait until your period is due.

Good luck!!

It is a very good chance you are PG because you BD Sept 6-13th (taking a guess). Your estimated fertility window was 09/11/2007 thru 09/21/2007 and your next period or positive pregnancy test would be expected by 09/29/2007.

The problem is that most women do not ovulate on an exact date each month, and many women have a different ovulation day from month to month. If you also take into account that sperm can live in the body 3-5 days after intercourse has taken place, this can make conceiving on those days very possible.

We are in the same boat. I started on Sept 2 -7, 27 day cycle. BDed on Sept. 10th, 15th, and 18th. Today I have very tender sore BB.

BABY DUST TO YOU.

Not a direct answer to your question, but a suggestion for future months TTC...

When TTC, the average man shouldn't do the baby dance more frequently than every other day. It takes some time to rebuild an adiquate supply of those swimmers. The longer you wait (up until about 5 days), the more viable swimmers should be released. So the best advice as far as timing is to abstain for 4 or 5 days before you think you're going to ovulate, then do the dance every other night.

Sorry I can't tell you the exact odds, but we are on the same schedule and I have the same thing going on--sore breasts before pms time--so I want an answer, too.

I have seen people say that ovulation is around 14 days after the start of your period, so you may have been close enough by the end of the second week for it to make it! Keep us posted...and good luck!

I think it's very possible you are pregnant. My gyno told me that usually you are most likely to get pregnant shortly after your period. Of course, this varies, some people have shorter ones and there is not a set day that every woman ovulates. Also, i want to note what another answerer said. It can stay in your body for a couple of days... and since you were having sex practically everyday, you were likely ovulating.... On the other hand, I have heard that having a lot of sex can actually reduce your chances of conceiving, I don't have the details on that one, so don't believe it until you look in to it.
I hope you get what you are hoping for! :)
