Yes, of course! Even though they have fur coats, they are domestically bred animals & should be brought indoors when it gets very cold. How would you like to be stuck in a hutch outside in the cold? I live in southern New England & my crew are still outside, they'll come in for the winter months around the second or third week of October but before it goes below 40 at night. You'll love having your bunny so close at hand all the time, you'll get used to that fast! Have fun & enjoy!

I have had rabbits before and being inside was fine. They have more fur than we do so they should be okay. The vet would usually say that what we felt was cold, they would feel cold. If it is warm in your house then they should be warm. I personally would not leave it outside, but talking to a vet may give you some ideas too. Even a pet store that sells rabbits knows what to do during the winter.

Yes, your rabbit will do fine inside. We actually rarely bring our inside. Occasionally we'll bring newer litters inside if its well below freezing. Keep in mind that bunnies have a fur coat on that protects them in the winter. They actually have a harder time in the heat than the cold. We are more likely to bring a rabbit inside when its really hot.

That being said, bringing your rabbit inside will not harm it in any way. It will definitely make it easy to care for your rabbit. After all, who wants to go out and try to get frozen water out of a dish when its 10 below zero?

You should bring it inside, good job! He would not be able to use the resorces outside around him if he is kept in a cage to keep himself warm so he needed to come inside when it gets cold. Wild rabbits know how to take care of themselves when it gets cold, but he would have troubles with this especially being in a cage. He would have gotten sick or froze to death...

And why not

Lots of rabbits are 'house rabbits'

Carla Lane continually kept her rabbits indoors. they make great indoor pets and can also be trained like cats to use appropriate litter trays.

Theyre also very loveable huggy creatures too, so as well as them keeping warm, I reckon you could be kept warm yourself as well!! No slippers this season eh? lol

And so the answer to your question is a great big YES & THEY'L B OK

your rabbit would have been fine outside all year round (think about it no one goes collecting the wild rabbits do they)

but now your rabbit is inside, he/she needs to be kept inside until at least april, any time befoer this and sending your rabbit outside would be sending it un-prepared and the cold could kill him as he will no longer have the thicker winter coat to protect him that he does now.

Definitely. I used to have a pet rabbit and a kitten and they played together all over the house. Lots of fun to watch them chase each other.

Yes. I use to have two Black Dutches and I kept them inside during the winter. I'm sure they would love it, because they would be able to see you more often. Keep some newspapers or something underneath it to catch what usually falls to the ground.

Yes, I guess so, but will you be OK? Rabbit poo, where's the rabbit, etc. If you keep the rabbit in a hutch indoors you need to let it out to run around. It will miss the 'great outdoors' grass, etc. but better that than freezing.............. How about a shed instead?
