If you are in jail, some days can be a damn long time. If you are with the person you are in love with -asuming that the two of you get along well and like to be together- only for only some days and this is about it, would you think that this is a damn long time?

time is relative. a damn long time for an electron to complete an orbit of a nucleus could be a millionth of a second, a damn long time for a star to burn is 15 billion years.

It's that time after lunch when you're sleepy but you gotta wait until quitting time which is still 4 hours away. Or would that be called "too damned long"?
