Tennesse Williams wrote "The Glass Menagerie" There is a very dramatic scene between the mother and the daughter in that play. A lot of emotion can come out of it. You should read the entire play before you act it out though for the knowledge.

Oh my gosh, what a coinsidence! I actually came on here to do a little more research on Speech & Debate DUO pieces...
Anyways, after roughly five hours of research, I have come to the conclusion that the best DUO scenes are children's books, plays, musicals or even novels that have been condensed into a 10 minute performance. My best friend and I (both females... ignore the pic) have settled on a children's book written in 1950 called "The 13 Clocks" by James Thurber.
So go out there and find a good piece of art and condence it... I'm sure it will be fantastic!
Good luck & best wishes,
Marcy

You should check out http://www.actingscenes.com , they have many scenes, and allow you to search for two female character scenes. I'm sure you'll find something there.
