yes we still hang out together and were both in our 40's, she's one of my sons godmother...
i made sure i went to my school reunion because i wanted to show all them little rats how much i had blossomed, i was teased at school because i was a ginger, i had freckles and goofy teeth, i was skinny and lanky and i took alot of stick...school was tough, after i left school and got my womanly features i was offered a modelling job and i made a career out of it till i had my kids, i also landed myself on stage as a singer later on and i had changed from a goofy little ging with no confidence to a veru confident woman, i still work that job today...when i walked in the room no one knew me...not one person knew that i was the goofy little ginger all them years ago....i loved it...then someone saw my name tag and just stood there gawping like i was a bloody alien....there were a few jealous ones there too..the ones who thought they were IT at school....some of the guys who teased me were only interested in my (lower eyes) pathetic...i only went to see who had changed and who did well...sorry to say....they were all still the same....pity them eh.....good riddence to them..i think i got the last word in there...lol.....

I left 19 years ago at 17, I'm only in touch with 2 people I went to school with but not my "best mate" the two I am in touch with were friends outside school but were in the year above me and we are still close despite me living abroad. I would not go on a school reunion as the people in my class were all stuck up rich kids, not my cup of tea,

I left school at 15 (47 years ago) & I am still friends with my 2 best school friends & the best man at our wedding my other half is still friends with 5 old school friends from the same time
that makes 7 + their other halfs + the children + grandchilderen
We are now all over the world now but still keep in touch

I see some from time to time and we exchange friendly hellos. But I've never been to a reunion. Those days are gone; I don't want to hear the old stories. I did see a picture in the local paper of one reunion. Some of those people sure got fat! And apparently some size 16 's tried to squeeze into a size 6.

As soon as I left school I only kept in touch with one M8, the rest of them were school mates and I probably wouldn't have chosen them as friends on weekends. Harsh but true. We don't have re-unions in my school, if they did I would definately go, just to show off how much I can drink in a night.

LOL!! Riggs, I went to a Junior school reunion (was The schools 25th) got drunk, hit on my year 1 teacher who must've been straight out of teacher training when I was there(and still a total babe:-)) had a fight with an old school enemy 25 years on and stole a Free" commemorative mug!!LOL what a great evening that was!

I left school well over 40 years ago. I'm still in touch with a few of my classmates.
They are currently pulling the old place down. We had a reunion/wake a few months ago, but they wouldn't let me trash the place.

I am still in touch with my best friend from school we have been friends since the age of 7 and we are still best friends but sadly we dont live near each other but when we are on the phone its like we were never apart :))

no,he died,and at the last reunion I had to take my drunken other buddy home just as I was about to get it on with a chick that came out of nowhere to say she had a crush on me all through school but was afraid to tell me.
and I guess after she sobered up,she went back to being afraid because I never heard from her again.

Loathed school...
got on with only 1 teacher (art)....
didn't make any real friends apart from one...
been friends with him for 23 years now.
Never been to a school reunion...and have never missed not going either!
school the best years of your life....like hell is it!
