When my friend Nico and my classmate Chris died in a car accident in 2005. They were both just sixteen and not wearing seatbelts. I thought the pain would never go away. I never knew what it was like to lose someone in a car crash until this happened. My grandparents' warnings about not buckling up had caught up with me. I had to learn the hard way that seatbelts do save lives. So please buckle up. It really does make a difference.
This Saturday is the two-year-anniversary of their accident. Its going to be a hard day but its going to be much more painful for their loved ones, who suffered the most.

Well at the moment, I am going through the empty nest syndrome. Now all three of my children are away at school.
It may not be as bad as other things, but right now there is this tremendous emptiness in my life.

Coming home from work early in the middle of the night & finding a friend ( or so I thought) in my bed with my ex-wife, with my two daughters( now grown) down the hall, scared at what might happen. I have never been so sad, before or since.

When Grams died.
When my first cousin was killed by a drunk driver, and I could not even go to his funeral due to my high risk pregnancy.
My saddest moments are connected to people I have loved.
Peace.
