Hi there this might sound mean to some people but I have my reaons. Does anyone know any good excuses for getting out of a friends party. Heres my reasons, the girl whose party I am supposed to be attending is really mean and she always picks on me when she is with others. i don't want to go because her mean ways but I need an excuse for not being able to go. I may sound mean but she is horrible to me and it really upsets me.

Just tell her that you don't really want to go and then just don't say anything else about it!!

You don't need a reason just simply don't go, why would she invite you to the party in the first place if she is nothing but mean to you? that's what I would be asking myself, perhaps she wants to humiliate you in a crowd.
Sounds bad I know and I am sorry about that, if you have to R.S.V.P. then do so in writing but don't try and make up an excuse just say you wont be attending but you hope she has a good time.
If she asks you out right why your not coming tell her the truth, try to do this when you are both on your own, tell her that your not willing to put your self in her line of fire again just for her entertainment or simply say because you don't want to then walk away. Who knows she might not even realise she is doing it and it might clear the air and make her realise, I would bet there are others she does it to as well.
Don't be afraid to loose her as a friend, if that's what she even is.

You do not have to give an excuse. Do not let people bully you. I would be frank with her and stop standing there a taking it from her. She only does it because she can. I hope that all your friends are not like that. You need to dump this one. You are an easy target for her.How old are you? If you are underage and live at home you could always say that you are not allowed but I would not even give her an excuse. Just don't show up and when she asks you why (if she even does) tell her the truth. What do your other friends do when she picks on you? Good luck.

You're not the one who sounds mean - she does. Why not just tell her the real reason why you don't want to go. She has no right treating you like this - how dare she. She has a cheek to invite you to her party, and she doesn't sound like a true friend either if this is the way she treats you. She probably picks on you because she's jealous of you. I'd tell her the truth if i were you, and just don't hang around with her anymore - let her find someone else to pick on. Good luck. You don't have to put up with being treated like this though.

If she's mean to you then don't put up with it and certanly don't go to her party! Heres a good excuse that i used when i didn't want to go to something "Hey i'm realy sorry i can't make it but my great great granmother just dided and i have to comfort my family" of course it could backfire but it didn't for me!

i wouldnt make up excuses, tell her "im not coming to your party coz your a two faced *****". It might wake her up a bit and make her see what a cow she is being.
If you really need an excuse say that you have to attend an important family occasion, or say that your ill.

She sounds horrible, and she is certainly no friend of yours.
You need no excuse. She needs telling straight.
Tell her that she is a bee...eye...tee...cee...haytch, and that if her party was the last one on earth you wouldn't go to it.
I'll bet you're not the only one who doesn't want to go to her party.

It sounds wrong, but if she is mean to you, then just tell her, and tell her you don't want to go.
But, if you can't do that for whatever reason, just tell her that your parents won't let you, or they are making you go out for a meal with them or something. Honestly, blame it all on your parents, thats what I'd do!!xx

Just tell her you've gotten a very bad upset stomach vomiting etc,and you can't make it. Or if she does'nt realise tell her you've got your "Monthly" and the pain is unbearable.Make sure you tell her the latter, close to the date of this party.

You need to be blunt with this girl and tell her how you feel. Stand up for yourself. She doesn't think twice about your feelings so you should not worry about hers. She is not a real friend!!
