I wish that I could but, alas, the women in my family never mastered the French braid. It always looks so sophisticated yet femine that I've thought of going to the beauty shop and have them do my hair like that but I recently got it cut and doubt it's long enough anymore.

Yes, I do but I think it is hard to do. My daughter is 17 and a varsity Cheerleader and asks me to french braid her hair sometimes. I'll do it but it isn't easy. (It does look nice though.)

Nope, I wish I did. It's not fair because my friend is so good at it, that she can braid her own hair! She can do it in like 5 minutes, too! When I try, I just get it in this HUGE knot and I can't get it out....

I had to have my neighbor do her own hair and let me watch, so I could see how she places her fingers. It worked, now I can do it . . . except for that very last section, I can't manage to keep the tension and it billows out a bit.
It was an empowering experience, learning to do that!

No, but I'd like to learn. It would make my 5 year old granddaughter's hair look a lot better!

Only on myself. Isn't that sick? I just can't seem to get it right on other people. The angle of the hands or something, it's all backwards. Haha
