When The Wind Blows (The Bloggs And The Bomb).
I doubt anyone outside the UK will have heard of it, it's a very old black-comedy animated movie made in about 1982 about an elderly retired couple preparing for a nuclear holocaust, not quite understanding what it's about and reminiscing about their childhood in the Second World War.

It's very funny but desperately sad.

"Life is Beautiful". Not to be confused with "Its a Wonderful Life", which I haven't seen.

Yes, Life is Beautiful made me cry, many times! I also used to cry at the end of Moulin Rouge, but I was young at the time! It does take something really moving or poignant to make me cry though, I nearly cried at "Blood Diamond" too.

Good question :)

There's a few movies that make me cry.
The only two I can remember at this moment are:
The Green Mile.
Who Will Love My Children.

Pay It Forward. I didn't see Haley Joel Osment's death coming. I sobbed for hours! Eight Below, too. The dog sled dogs that get stranded. My husband actually cried at that one.

Strangely probably one of the happiest as well "The Killing fields" is one of the only films that makes me shed a tear but the ending is also one of the happiest!:-)

A true and powerful story with one of the most powerful moments in film history!
