depends on the age. Less than 1 formula, greater than 1 whole milk.

Depends on how old the baby is. Under a year, you must do formula (some research is even showing formula is better than cows milk for children in their second year of life). If over a year (which would be better for baby), than you can do milk. If over two years old (World Health Organization recommendation), than milk. I am going to start weaning at 18 months and by 2 years old she will get organic milk.

If they are under one year, give formula, but if the are 13 months or older you can try to see if their system excepts whole milk. My friends baby had to stay on formula for 15 months cause whole milk gave him the runs.

Depends on the age of the baby. If baby is at least 1 year, cow's milk is okay.

If baby is under 1 year, formula only-- no cows milk.

Depends when you stop breastfeeding. Cows milk is not recommended before the age of ONE. So if you stop before, you should use formula.

Depends on when you stop. We stop when baby weans himself, about 2 years. It's great because we never have to buy formula and it's super healthy for them to nurse that long. After that, they can drink regular milk if they want, but we don't push it.

First I'd say do NOT just stop. You will get engorged and the baby might have a digestive issue with the sudden absence of the most readily digestible thing. Second, it depends on how old he/she is and what your future dietary plans are. If baby is under one year, transition to formula. If baby is over one year, transition to the milk of your choice; cows, goats, soy, rice, whatever.

How old is your baby? If your baby is over one year, you can start weaning them from the breast to whole milk. If your baby is under one year, wean to formula.

Be sure to talk with your pediatrician.
