They are basically the same..except, a g-string only has one string in the back. And a thong has strip of the panties in the back. A thong is a little bit more comfortable then a g-string.

A g-string has the elastic string that goes up your backside. A thong has a wider strip of fabric and is usually wider on top too. G-strings are much more comfy than thongs, IMO.

I am guessing G-STRINGS are just that one little string down the butt , thongs can be more material but still a thin bit of material down the butt. lol
