The word "dinosaur" didn't even exist until the 1800's, it's clearly a desperate attempt by the atheist agenda to cover up God's truth. All fossils are fabrications. How can people still buy into something so ridiculous as big lizards roaming the earth millions of years ago?

I don't know why people think you are joking, they've obviously been brainwashed. They need to read something other than government-issued textbooks...THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE, PEOPLE!

I dont see how the bible (ive read it) is incompatible with the earth being so old and previous things inhabiting it. The bible has been translated several times, and the hebrew words that were used had more meanings than 'day' - each day could have meant an eon. As for 'let there be light' - sounds like the big bang to me.

The word dinosaur is a compound world in latin - a language which has existed since before Christ - the guy that coined the phrase, Richard Owen, actually was against Darwin's theories of evolution.

Id rather incorporate what common sense and logic tells us about our world with scripture. It makes more sense than trying to believe in a God that is deceitful and gives us false information.

By the way, the Catholic Church agrees with the science when it comes to dinosaurs, 4.5 billion old earth, and is even agreeable to evolution. So that means the majority of Christians in the world are for it. (BTW - im not catholic)

Some people deny this fact. Christians do not believe in evolution and this also confuses me as to why they cannot teach it because isn't religion and the government (schools) supposed to be separated from each other? If a parent doesn't want their child to learn about evolution then the teacher should be able to find an alternative assignment instead of the School Board of Education denying these teachings to the rest of the population. I was lucky enough that in my Anatomy and Physiology class my teacher didn't really care and still taught it to us. I live in Kansas so getting taught evolution was hard enough. Thankfully my teacher understood that we were all mature about the topic and actually wanted to learn about it no matter what our religion was. It's all rather silly when you look at it.

I find it very odd that just after Darwin published his theory of evolution was when dinosaurs were discovered. You would think that the Greeks or Romans, or Chinese would have discovered them first. If we can have a global warming hoax, which we do, then I can believe that the dinosaurs were also a hoax. By the way, what's the difference between a fossilized bone and a carved rock?

I'm not sure if dinosaurs are lizards anymore, they seem to be more like birds base upon scientific data and excavation of fossils. They can be lizards because scientists believe that they evolved from birds into lizards. This theory can be argued from scientist or religious thought. Well the fossils are real so it fascinates people who like to look at artifacts and fossils to say this is pretty cool having a dinosaur bone. From this it makes people excited to know that certain creatures lived a long time ago and that we still have fossils or artifacts that show there existance. Now I know your argue religiously that dinosaurs do not exist but scientists will argue that they do exist. I for one do not care about arguments between religion and science. So they did exist from your creator millions years ago and they dieded out base upon the theory of evloution. Do not send me any e-mails about u arguing of evolution, I heard all of them. I do believe god and that he cretaed these creatures long before humanity. I gonna leave it there and thats it

Why do you have a problem with giant lizards (dinosaurs). Was Leviathan not a giant lizard? The Bible does not recant that fact that there were giants. In fact The Bible actually references this.

For a very long time (discrepancies as to the amount of time spent) Adam and Eve lived in the protection of the Garden of Eden free from aging and "monsters" if you will. Then after being evicted from the Garden of Eden, they were introduced to many plants and animals that were deadly and aging started taking place. So yes these "dinosaurs" would have been on Earth at the same time as Adam and Eve.

I believe God destroyed dinosaurs when He kicked Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden in order that His "children" could survive in this world without the protection of the Garden of Eden. Of course this is my belief and there is no writings in The Bible to substantiate this theory.

Yeah, well the American Indians are still getting a bad rep.....God's time and our time are different. Fossils are very real and can be carbon dated, you need to go figure out what God's truth is for you and quite worrying about something that won't matter in another100 or so years.

Dinosaurs are not a hoax. Where do you think the fossils came from? All scientists who did carbon dating were lying? I believe in God and Jesus but I also know that there were dinosaurs.

Here's a better question. Why don't we save all religious discussions for the RELIGION SECTION? Why can you not just keep to yourself what is floating around in your head, and save this space for legitimate, relevant questions and answers; things that actually pertain to the section's title, which is HISTORY, not THEISM or YOUR OPINION HERE.

You cannot be a real Creationist. Everyone knows they believe that dinosaurs had saddles and that the descendants of Adam rode on their backs.

I know people who think this way and to them I say:
prove to me, with that logic, that the Earth was not created last week with the mere appearance of age, including your falsified memories, etcetera. It can't be done.

If you accept that all we observe is accurate, billions of years are necessary to explain it.
