But not as wet! If I have to cover distance X before I am under cover, and the rain is coming down at a fixed rate per second, I am exposed to less rain if I cover distance x in 30 seconds than if it takes me 60 seconds!

because if you run, you'll spend less time in the rain. if my car is a 5 minute walk in the rain or a 1 minute run, i'll run if its raining. 1 minute in the rain gets me less wet than 5 minutes in the rain.

I dont run cause it is silly as you said gonna get wet anyways.

Yes, research carried out found that you get wetter if you run because the water is driven into your clothing. I think it's just human instinct to run. My cat runs in when it rains!!

I don't run when it starts to rain, I take my time and enjoy the rain, and I even splash ppl with the puddles on the ground.
