yes i love an old fashioned christmas, now we only have the old music and memories of it

I used to string popcorn on the Christmas Tree every year when I was a child!!

We used dried cranberries to string up, too! My dad always made a "trap" to catch Santa Claus! We never caught him, but one year, he left his boot and the next, some of his beard (cotton) was caught in our window! He always left us a note, about how we needed to try harder to catch such a magical guy! My dad made all of my Christmas memories so special!
I miss the good old days, too!

yea like last year... but our dog knocked the tree over and ate the popcorn

Yea, that was before my dad left my mom for a much younger lady and smashed all of our hopes and dreams. Our Christmases were never the same. But, hey, I'm not bitter.
I miss the good ol' days. *Sigh*

Yes, one year we were so poor and didn't have anything, we strung popcorn, made a chain out of green & red construction paper and made our own decorations too.

yup sure did, but you have to wait until the popcorn is stale before you can do it otherwise it'll fall apart (and possibly some might get eaten)

No...I've only decorated trees like 3 times so, I haven't tried that yet.
