I know of some political commentators running for office, like Dan Patrick who became a Texas Senator. But Bill O'Reilly does not tickle my fancy at all, he's just a reactionary, knee-jerk, hollow-headed demagogue; just because he has an opinion does not mean he would do a good job of leading the U.S. There is more to leading than just reacting or having an opinion. Just because you know the ship is being badly steered doesn't mean you can or should steer it.

Are you kidding me? Bill is notoriously thin-skinned and he wouldn't last a minute from getting grilled by the press. He can control everything on his talk show but chickens out all the time when challenged to a real debate.

He is a coward and a bully. I'd love to see this guy self-destruct if he actually does throw his hat in the ring. But my guessing is that he's not going to do it, and why not? He's got a cushy job right now, why give it up to get a lot of scrutiny that he can't take?

CNN & Liberal watch group Media Matters are already slandering him, imagine if he were a candidate. He would never get a fair shake from biased media like CBS, OR ABC, or CNN.

CNN , new the story they made about him wasn't true and still ran it, read my questions for more info. They would make up all sorts of lies about him, so would, the "comedians" like John Stewart and David Letterman who think they are poltical consultants just because they are famous. I will give John Stewart he probably knows more than Letterman, but I don't think either should force opinions on people, and they would defintely do that against O'reilly and have.

He would not bring the country to together but divide it more. He is just a talking head who knows nothing about government. Also this thing about terrorist is a joke. Its just a scam for politicians to get your vote. If you vote because your scared of terrorist then you dint deserve your freedom.
