The official currency of the Czech republic is Czech 'Koruna' (crown).

It is still the main currency used in the country.
However, there are places that accept payments in Euro's such as certain hotels and department stores.

For the most part, prices are in Czech crowns but you may run into places that also provide prices in Czech Crowns and Euros as well.

And one more note: prices in the Czech Republic INCLUDE taxes so basically what you see is what you pay (that's a nice change from North America).

Any recommendation? Well, if you want to take a cab, I recommend to go with AAA (http://www.aaataxi.cz/en/), at least I've always had a good experience with them.
The subway system operates only till midnight, after that you'll have to take one of the night buses.

This is the 'integrated public transportation' website:

You may want to check it out since you'll probably take it at some point during your stay.

Have a great time!

I think for what you're going there for . . . you can exchange Euros for tokens. Kinda like the ones they issue at arcades and the state fair.

I strongly recomment you should stay away from the things you are going there for.
