I grew up with his kids and he was always very nice to us. He took us to the games and we sat in the owners box and had all the food, candy and drinks we wanted.
He may or may not have been a jerk to others, but I always saw him as a kind father and a nice man. His kids loved him.

I feel the same way...I am torn, in one way I am sad because a man died...in another way I am sooooooo glad because I feel that now the Blackhawks could take a giant step back into prominence in the city of chicago...havlat, toews, kane....we will be good, we need to start working on reconciling with fans in the city and bring Hockey in Chicago back!! Hopefully people will start going to games again, hopefully the Hawks will be on tv...hopefully we can make it back to the playoffs again...you are not a terrible person...Bill Wirtz killed the Hawks!!!

Not a bad man, just a greedy one. I suppose it would be permissible for a Blackhawks fan to be happy, since this will probably be good for their franchise.

well i know a man who i wont loose sleep over if he died, so no you are not terrible for the joy you feel
i wouldn't feel joy i would not be bothered if a certain person like died tomorrow, i wouldn't batter and eye lid.
