You cannot pay your bills because he is not assisting you with supporting your child.
I am sure any preist or pastor would tell you the same.
Biblically speaking you cannot have a child outstide of marriage or divorce your husband. You can seperate from your husband though...and don't forget, Jesus forgives you of your past sins.
Another point in your favour...the father has a legal obligation to support his child, and doesn't the bible tell you to obey the laws of the land?

Did you ever think that you might have problems paying your bills because you get no child support from the childrens' father??? Of course it is ok, Biblically and otherwise, to ask for child support. It is due THEM, not you.

Since when does the bible have to do with child support? No disrespect, but it sounds as if you guys weren't even married. Want to get biblical? Then you had sex before marriage. F-O-R-N-I-C-A-T-I-O-N. You religious people have got to get your head out of your ****. There is nothing in the bible that even speaks about child support with the exception that BOTH parents need to "PROVIDE" and care for the child that has been sent to you from God that you care for until he/she returns home to him. Stick to the bible if you want to pull the religious card. Sounds to me like you are just scared and if you go after him you may blow your chances of getting him back. Seen women like you pass through my office a million times when I worked for the City. Yuck.

There is no scripture that addresses child support, but YES it is o.k. for you to ask for child support. A child should be supported by BOTH parents!!!! Receiving child support will help you so that you can provide for your child and pay your bills.

Bibilically it is not okay to have a child outside of marriage or to divorce. However since that does not seem to be an issue, you should not be too concerned with your ex'ss legal obligation to support his child.

Doesn't the bible say parents should support their children. So why is it wrong for a christian to ask for what the bible says your children are entitled to. As long as the money is spent on your children welfare there is nothing wrong with it.

You need to do what's best for your kids. You have them so you need to provide them with a home, food and clothing. the father needs to help you with that. You didnt create those children alone, you need help raising them. Nobody's prefect but thier his kids too.

Child support has nothing to do with YOU. It has to do with his obligation to support his child.
