I was given provera to induce my period. ANd then was given the instruction to tak clomid on teh 5th day of my period. Yesterday I got a spot of blood in the morning- and then brownish discharge all day- today I have more of the blood and clots. SHould I could yesterday as Day 1 or should I could today as day 1. I am so worried that I wont take the clomid on the right day. WIll it make that much of a difference if I take it a day later? Any help would be WONDERFUL!!!!

My dr. always told me the first day I saw blood to count that as day 1. She said all were looking for is some blood it didn't matter the amount that was there. So I would count yesterday as day 1.

My doctor told me to count day 1 as the first day of a flow (not spotting). I took mine on days 5-9 too. I do know that some people take it starting different days. Like 3-7. But you should go by when your doctor said to take it.

you count day 1 , the day you have red blood flow, not brown discharge, so I would say today. good luck.
