A list of really really poor presidents,
James Buchanan (1857-1861) Democrat
He refused to challenge either the spread of slavery or the growing bloc of states that became the Confederacy.
Andrew Johnson (1865-1869) Democrat
He survived impeachment after opposing Reconstruction initiatives including the 14th amendment.
Millard Fillmore (1850-1853) Whig
He backed the Compromise of 1850 that delayed the Southern secession by allowing slavery to spread.
Ulysses S. Grant (1869-1877) Republican
Serving right after Johnson, he presided over an outbreak of graft and corruption, but had good intentions.
Herbert Hoover (1929-1933) Republican
He was known as a poor communicator who fueled trade wars and exacerbated the Depression.
Zachary Taylor (1849-1850) Whig
A political novice, the war hero is entirely forgettable as president.
Warren G. Harding (1921-1923) Republican
He was an ineffectual and indecisive leader who played poker while his friends plundered the U.S. treasury
Franklin Pierce (1853-1857) Democrat
His fervor for expanding the borders--thereby adding several slave states--helped set the stage for the Civil War.
John Tyler (1841-1845) Democrat
He was a stalwart defender of slavery who abandoned his party’s platform once he was president.
William Harrison (1841) Whig
He was president for all of 30 days after contracting pneumonia during his interminable inaugural.
Richard Nixon (1969-1974) Republican
Though politically gifted, he will forever be associated with the Watergate scandal and his resignation.
A Survey of Major Polls
U.S. News examines five polls and determines the 13 lowest scoring presidents (including Jimmy Carter at 11th).
I see even numbers of R's and D's here among the list of bad presidents along with 3 whigs.
Looks like party affiliation does not matter, it seems to be that
_politicians_ are bad news no matter what.

Jimmy Carter was by far the worse president we have ever had. I agree it's very unfortunate that we are losing lives over in Iraq right now. But the fact will be always and for-ever. we were attacked first. It was not a military base that was attacked this time like in Pearl Harbor. It was a direct attack on us on our own soil. If Clinton had got some guts when he was in office and sent a team over there to kill Osama then it would not have happened. We are living in dangerous times and you can't compare this person to that for everything. We haven't had anything happen here since. 9-11. But just say we pull our troops out and leave that place. Then six months later they come back here and they are so strong and ready that they attack us in some way we can't defend ourselves and this time the loss of life is in the tens of thousands or maybe worse. I feel it could happen if we leave Iraq. I have friends over there fighting for our very right here to live normal lives. I would be over there in a moment if i were able to fighting along side all those brave men and women. Lets not attack the President for what he is doing. Stand by out troops and stand together as a Nation.remeber this nation began as a WAR. We fought for independence and we are fighting again only this time it's not on our soil. At least not yet.

I think the president you chose to compare President Bush with, is the wrong one. Since, for example, the economy was not good when Carter was in power_since it appears to have started to go bad while Ford was in in the White House. Also problems with oil were terrible. On the other hand he did everything humanly possible to get Israel and Palestinians to talk, and appears to be precursor of what Clinton's administration succeeded in doing between those two peoples.
And as expected_procuring as he did peace between other nations_well, the U.S. also had no wars while he was in power.
I would suppose the only comparison between both these presidents was their inability to stop attacks from terrorists. In this administration we've had 9/11, and with Carter we had the horrific ordeal of kidnapped Americans in Iran.

Way worse. Jimmy Carter is a very kind man with good intentions.
George W. seems like a nice person. But, his actions and decisions are not what I would call kind or good. Even though I doubt he looks at it that way.

Jimmy Carter is the worse because he is the Anti-Christ who will serve a second term in office after the death of President Obama who is the 7th King in Rev. 17:11 who will die just before the
Anti-Christ comes to power!
Jimmy Carter is the Anti-Christ! The angel Gabriel told me in Aug. 1973 that Jimmy Carter was the Anti-Christ and that he was going to change his name and divorce his wife!
Obama is the 7th king in Rev. 17:10 and the Anti-Christ was one of the previous 7 and will become the 8th after Obama's death!
Revelation 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
Those 7 kings were all alive in June 2004 when the 5 fallen kings came for a visit to the White House in June 2004 when George W. was in office!
These are those 5 fallen kings.
1. Gerald Ford
2. Jimmy Carter
3. Ronald Reagan
4. George H. W. Bush
5. Bill Clinton
6. George W. Bush (king #6) is referred to here in the present tense!
Obama is King #7 who has not yet come;and when he comth, he must continue a short space.
The Anti-Christ is one of these 7 kings and he will become the 8th king after the death of king #7 who it says in Daniel 11:20 will be a raiser of taxes .
Dan. 11:20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes [in] the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
Dan. 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
