I guess that would depend on where you're at. When I got mine (about 5 years ago) they cost around 7 bucks. I don't even know where I can find any now. I haven't seen them at any pet stores in years.

About 10 bucks here at the mall. They are selling them as 'living dinosaurs", how funny!

Come to Muskegon, jump into Muskegon Lake and find one.. (there is a thriving population of them.. it was even a jeopardy question once.. lol) They don't sell them anywhere up here..
